ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER/DRAFTER Position Type: Full-time Location: Fort Collins, CO (In-office / Non-remote) Compensation: Hourly for a minimum 30-day probationary period, with the opportunity to transition to a salaried position with benefits. Position Overview This is a mid-level role (minimum 3 years of professional experience required) for an individual who seamlessly bridges the gap between technical precision and creative presentation. You will turn concepts into reality, producing highly detailed construction documents while simultaneously elevating our visual storytelling through immersive 3D renderings. Key Responsibilities Schematic & Technical Drafting: Participate in all project phases to develop precise, accurate architectural plans and schematic designs using Revit. Visual Storytelling: Think creatively to deliver high-quality, visually compelling 3D presentations, photorealistic walk-throughs, and panoramic renderings (via Enscape). Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with the design team and engineers to understand project objectives, incorporate feedback, and modify designs as necessary. Site Surveying & Research: Conduct on-site space measurements and perform comprehensive background research on applicable zoning laws and building codes. Quality Control: Perform meticulous quality control reviews, ensuring all technical drawings comply with construction guidelines and industry standards. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in an architectural or design firm environment (this is not an entry-level position). Technical Proficiency: Advanced software skills in Revit and Enscape; comfortable operating in both Mac and Windows environments. Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of custom residential construction, specifically wood-framed structures. Project Management: Exceptionally self-directed and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and consultants. Logistics: Must be a flexible team player and provide your own reliable transportation to conduct site visits. Position Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will translate client visions into functional, beautiful spaces by managing design projects from initial concept through to final execution. The ideal candidate balances artistic flair with strong project management skills. We are looking for an outgoing, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who doesn't just wait for projects, but actively strives to create new, unique opportunities for the business. Key Responsibilities Concept & Development: Consult with clients to determine project goals, space requirements, and aesthetic preferences; formulate comprehensive design plans, mood boards, and space utilization concepts. Technical Design & Drafting: Sketch initial design ideas and create detailed blueprints, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using Revit. Project Management: Oversee the design process from inception to completion, including establishing timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and artisans. Material & Product Sourcing: Select and procure high-quality materials, furniture, lighting, flooring, and decorative elements that align with the design vision and budget. Compliance & Inspection: Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards, and conduct post-installation inspections to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a highly related field, paired with a strong portfolio of proven design work. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in computer-aided design software such as Revit, and Enscape. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of color theory, spatial planning, textiles, building materials, and current design trends. Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to pitch concepts to clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary construction teams.
